Content Discovery Platforms
Referred to as websites for scrolling, or ‘content aggregators’, these websites allow you to explore different aspects without end. Covering topics of trending and viral categories of lifestyle, humour, hobbies, and art. Fun Facts, online products to buy, recent celebrity scandals, and fandoms to discover. Here are some recommendations:
Bored Panda
Known for its broad alignment of short comics from different artists, Bored Panda posts almost daily with heartwarming animal stories and inspiring human achievements, as well as creative crafts and relatable doodles. One of the highlights of this website is its collaborative nature, allowing users to share and contribute their own content. Whether you’re looking for a dose of creativity, want to be inspired by extraordinary tales, or simply want to explore captivating and amusing content, Bored Panda is a good website to spark your curiosity and keep boredom at bay.
Review by Anonymous Y8 Student- ‘7/10, graphics are really nice and content overall, could use a more aesthetic approach to the website.’
Demilked
Instead of its humour directed to a broad audience, Demilked’s ‘humour’ covers a wide range of creative aspects, including graphic design, product design, fashion, illustration, and advertising. Whether you’re interested in design trends, unconventional art installations, or mind-bending photography, Demilked provides a diverse selection of captivating content. The platform also features artist interviews, providing insights into their creative processes and inspirations.
Quizzes
You know about those online platforms where you can take quizzes to find out which Harry Potter character you are or what kind of pizza topping matches your personality? Quizzes like those allow for more ways to interact and keep you engaged. Take a look at some of the most wide-ranging selections of quizzes on these websites! Not only can this be a great way to kill time, but it also allows you to find out more about yourself and the people around you. Whether you’re in the mood for a personality quiz to see which superhero you’d be or a trivia quiz to test your knowledge on a specific subject, these online quiz platforms have got you covered.
Buzzfeed
Although known for its vast content as well, one of the main points of this website is the diversity and collaborative nature of its quizzes. They cover pretty much every topic you can imagine. From pop culture and TV shows to food, relationships, and beyond, there’s a quiz for everyone. Not only that, but the best part is the party option, allowing you to take trivia and quizzes with your friends at the same time. It’s an instant ice-breaker and a great way to bond over shared interests.
MBTI Test
Looking for something more in-depth, technical? Take the 16 Personalities test! The MBTI test is a popular personality assessment that helps individuals understand their preferences and how they interact with the world. After taking the quiz (or test), it assigns a four-letter code representing personality traits. While it offers insights and can be engaging, it’s important to remember that it’s not scientifically validated. It’s a tool for self-reflection and personal growth, providing a framework for understanding oneself or others, making it another good choice for icebreakers or a topic to discuss with friends.
uQuiz
Unlike the two I have shared before, uQuiz focuses solely on creating and posting user-made quizzes, specialising in different fandoms, and mostly story-based quizzes. Interested in the upcoming movie of FNAF, or maybe the recent trending manga of Jujutsu Kaisen? uQuiz allows its users to connect with each other with different personalised answers, as well as the humour side of each fandom.
Review- Anonymous SPCC G12- ‘really ugly website but cool quizzes, great to do at night when you don’t know what to do with yourself. 8.5/10’
Interactive Websites
Not a big fan? Don’t worry, I still have many to recommend. Instead of quizzes this time, these websites are a bit like widgets, with fun simulations to play in. These provide a much shorter time span for a quick and easy, 15-minute procrastination session (who am I kidding, 15 minutes is pretty long.) Some of its content consists of trolley problems, a challenge to spend all of Bill Gates’ money, and even guilt-tripping yourself after seeing how successful people your age are!
Neal.fun
Review by Mikaela Y8T- ‘10/10, I spent all of Bill Gates’ Money. Would recommend, if ur poor then u can retail therapy on this website.’
Bored Button
Reaching the peak of insanity from boredom? The bored button promises to stop just that. Clicking on the mysterious red button transports you to different games, such as how long you can hold a button for, or finding a song that defines your life. That’s not it! It also contains an encyclopedia for funny insult words, and an opportunity to become a space alpaca, the possibilities are endless!
With a wide range of entertaining activities, they offer much-needed breaks from academic responsibilities. Want more procrastination fuel? Check out more of this website! Make sure you don’t get too lost, though, I’m pretty sure that the assignment you’re working on is due this week.

That’s great. 🤩
Great list! I’d like to add ZestCore to the interactive list too! They are kinda like Bored Button, but with the really boring websites filtered out, and have a bigger collection than Neal Fun.
